Thrilled to share highlights from the recent MedGU conference in Istanbul, Turkey, where I presented our recent research in the session [T8-OS1] Track 8. Geological Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering: “Temperature and shear rate effects on the residual shear strength of saturated clay soils: implications for landslides” by Gianvito Scaringi , Marco Loche (Paper id: 872), exploring the intricate interplay between temperature, shear rate, and residual shear strength in saturated clay soils.
Additionally, it’s was a pleasure to be assigned as a Session Chair during the conference. A big thank to the MedGU23 organizers for this opportunity.
Looking forward to continued collaboration and knowledge exchange in the dynamic field of geological and geotechnical engineering!
So, stay tuned for more exciting updates as we delve deeper into the realms or research in natural hazards, climate change and thermal effects on slope stability.
